SIICEI

The SIICEI project's primary goal is to research and develop an electrical charge separation system for industrial applications and subsequent processing for energy consumption and operation monitoring.

The system will allow the energy consumption profile identification of each electrically-powered equipment (charge) in real-time, using only the electrical energy signals at the industrial installation energy input.

With a reduced investment and quick installation, it's possible to quantify energy consumption, measure equipment operation periods, and drive new applications of the gathered data.

The paradigm shift that the consortium shall realize allows the monitorization of several equipment performance metrics (for example, consumption, operation period or durability) and quick and automatic equipment failure detection.

The actual implementation of the results of this project shall increase the energy and productivity efficiency of industrial units. In an early phase, the technology will first be validated in small to medium-sized industrial units, which typically possess the bare minimum of technology in their production lines.
